Pan Has Nine Lives, or Maybe Eleven
Low Card: 3,000
Completion: 12,000
Limits: 12,000-24,000
Matt Grapenthien limped, Qinghai Pan completed, Nicolas Milgrom raised, Grapenthien called, Pan made it three bets, Milgrom four-bet, Grapenthien called, and Pan was all-in yet again.
Qinghai Pan: XxXx / Q♦10♦J♦10♣ / Xx
Matt Grapenthien: XxXx / 4♠5♠7♥4♣ / Xx
Nicolas Milgrom: XxXx / A♣5♦A♥9♦ / Xx
On the side pot, Milgrom led on fourth and Grapenthien called.
Milgrom made open aces on fifth but he check-called a bet from Grapenthien. Milgrom would check-call two more bets on sixth and seventh.
Grapenthien revealed 3♣2♠2♥ in the hole for a straight six and six low, while Milgrom had A♦6♠4♦ for trip aces as Grapenthien scooped a substantial side pot. However, Pan would then table Q♥Q♣5♥ in the hole, and he made a full house to get half of the main pot to survive again.
Tablemate Chris Brewer joked that Pan has been at risk "at least eleven times" without being eliminated.
