Cheng Puts the Pressure on Pearlman
Peter Ball made it 60,000 to play from early position and was looked up by Daniel Pearlman on the button. Zijing Cheng sat in the small blind put in a three-bet to 150,000.
Ball got out of the way quickly and Pearlman made the call.
The flop came 9♣6♦6♥ and Cheng fired out for 70,000. Pearlman made the call.
The turn brought the A♥ and Cheng didn't slow down firing out a second bullet of 160,000. Pearlman made the call.
The A♠ peeled off on the river and prior to any action the pain could be seen on Pearlman's face. Cheng fired the third barrel of over 500,000 which was enough to put Pearlman all in who instantly folded his hand knowing that he was beat.
The two players went into a little conversation about Cheng's holding and it was claimed that she held quad sixes rather than the quad aces Pearlman thought she might hold!
