After putting in 8,000 each on the 4♣7♥4♠ flop, Dario Sammartino and Matt Vengrin both checked the 10♠ turn. Sammartino then bet 4,000 on the 10♥ river from the hijack, which Vengrin raised to 18,500 on the button.
Sammartino spent a few minutes in the tank, but eventually surrendered his cards to forfeit the pot.
Shortly before, Shaun Deeb had lost his short stack at another table to be eliminated.
