Helander Triples, Slay Sent Out
Level 37
: Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Michael Helander moved his last 3,400,000 into the middle from under the gun, and Carlos Martinez slid out a big raise on the button. Kelly Slay stuck her stack into the middle from the small bind, and all three hands were turned up.
Michael Helander: A♠J♣
Kelly Slay: A♦Q♠
Carlos Martinez: K♠9♦
Martinez and Slay both hit a pair on the 10♥K♦Q♥ flop, but it gave Helander Broadway. Nothing further changed on the 4♦ turn or 7♠ river, seeing Helander triple up while Slay's stack was sent to Martinez.
