Yau Next to Double Through Takeuchi
Level 38
: Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Kazuto Takeuchi announced all in on the button for 10,000,000, and Richard Yau took some time in the small blind before committing his stack of 4,500,000.
Richard Yau: A♥6♥
Kazuto Takeuchi: A♠10♠
The monotone K♣3♣6♣ flop gave Yau the pair he needed, while the K♠ turn and 9♣ river were no help to Takeuchi. Yau confirmed the count of his stack, doubling up while leaving Takeuchi short.
