Sakaguchi Takes Down Gosset
Level 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jourdan Baptiste raised to 20,000 from the cutoff. Katsumoto Sakaguchi called from the cutoff, as did Joel Gossett and Joseph Saltanovitz from the blinds.
When the flop landed J♥6♣6♠, Gossett moved all in for 116,000. Sakaguchi was the only caller.
Joel Gossett: A♣6♦5♣4♥
Katsumoto Sakaguchi: K♠K♥Q♥9♥
Gossett was well ahead with trip sixes, but the Q♠Q♦ turn-river pair flipped the script to give Sakaguchi three queens and the bounty.
"Are you serious?" Gossett said as he handed over his bounty slip.
