Set of Sixes for Farahi
Level 18
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
This pot was picked up with over 200,000 already in the middle on a flop that read 9♠2♦7♥.
All three players in the pot checked the flop to usher in the 6♥ turn. Punnat Punsri checked his option again from the big blind before Kaifan Wang put out a bet of 110,000 from early position. Alexander Farahi made the call from the hijack while Pusnri folded to bow out of the hand.
Wang went all-in on the 3♣ river, which was snap-called by Farahi, who put himself at risk for 265,000.
Alexander Farahi: 6♦6♠
Kaifan Wang: J♠J♦
Wang had a big pocket pair, but it was no match for Farahi as he revealed a set of sixes to take down the pot.
