Hugo Corbel got the action started with an open to 80,000 from the hijack. Michael Rocco three-bet to 255,000 from the cutoff in response. John Pannucci took a moment to consider his decision before he chose to four-bet to 570,000 from the small blind.

Corbel folded, but Rocco was not done with the bidding as he chose to five-bet all-in to put Pannucci at risk. Pannucci made the call as the two went to a showdown with Pannucci at risk.

Pannucci got queens at the wrong time as Rocco had a dominant lead with his pocket kings.

The flop offered slim pickings for Pannucci as it came 9♦3♠J♠ to keep Rocco ahead.

Pannucci failed to find a queen on the 2♠ turn or the 7♠ river to be eliminated by Rocco.

With that win, Rocco climbed over the three million mark as his stack continued to grow on a strong Day 3 for the WSOP bracelet holder.
