Jagroo Taken Out by Gierse
Level 27
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Michael Jagroo went all-in on the button for 1,150,000 before he was called by Marius Gierse in the big blind to be at risk for his tournament life.
Michael Jagroo: A♥9♥
Marius Gierse: A♠Q♥
Gierse had his opponent in a tough spot as Jagroo was well behind the better ace of Gierse.
The 6♣3♣K♥ flop was of no use to Jagroo, who still needed to find a nine or running hearts to save the day.
Gierse maintained his lead on the 7♣ turn.
The Q♠ was the final card Jagroo would see in the tournament as Gierse eliminated him from contention.
