Jiang Captures Chip Lead
Level 38
: Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Yanting Jiang was the first to act and opened to 2,500,000. Chahn Jung came along with a call from the small blind to go heads up against Jiang.
Jung checked the 2♥A♥J♥ flop before Jiang bet 1,500,000. Jung made the call.
It was checked to Jiang again on the 9♣ turn before she put out a second barrel for 3,500,000. Jung stuck around with a call.
Both players checked the 7♣ river to go to a showdown.
Jung showed A♠3♠ for a pair of aces, but he found out the bad news that the turn helped Jiang as she showed J♦9♦ for two pair to claim the pot and the chip lead.
