Wang Gets Half to Survive as Pan Bets Out Brunson

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Todd Brunson raised in the hijack, Joshua Wang three-bet in the cutoff, and Qinghai Pan tossed in a fourth bet on the button. Brunson and Wang quickly called to the KQA flop, which checked to Pan.

He bet, Brunson called, and Wang called all in for his last 1,000. Pan kept firing on the 2 turn, seeing Brunson check-call. A final bet by Pan then flew in on the 5 river, but Brunson check-folded this time after some thought.

Pan received the side pot as he opened AK72 for two pair, aces and kings. Wang had made a low with his A964, and was awarded half of the main pot to stay alive.
