Mack Lee had gotten all his chips in preflop from the small blind, and Ashish Gupta in middle position and David Lin in the hijack had created a small side pot.

The 6♣Q♦4♠A♣7♦ board was then checked through to showdown. Gupta tabled A♠8♦6♥2♥ for a seven-low and two pair. Lin had the same low with A♦K♦8♣2♦, but had a lesser high hand, and thus got quartered.

Lee received no part of the pot with 10♦9♦5♦4♥, and he consequently said his goodbyes and left the tournament area.

The Omaha Hi-Lo Championship was left with 32 players, meaning the tournament would progress hand for hand until the bursting of the bubble.
