Minko Bests James

Vladimir Minko opened to 4,000 from the hijack before Robert James made it 14,000 on the button. Minko made the call.

The 9♠9♣3♦ flop led to a check from James. Minko bet 9,000 in response, and James called.

Both players checked the J♣ turn to bring the 10♠ river. James chose to wager 26,000, and Minko made the call to go to a showdown.

James showed 8♥8♠ for eights and nines, but it was no good as Minko revealed he hit the turn with A♣J♦ for jacks up to take the pot.
