Double for Shylko
Level 6
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
A series of raises resulted in an all-in and call between Timur Margolin in the cutoff and Aliaksandr Shylko on the button, with Shylko at risk for 183,500 total as they went to a showdown.
Aliaksandr Shylko: J♥J♦
Timur Margolin: A♥Q♦
It was a fair fight between Shylko's pocket jacks and Margolin's overcards.
The flop favored Margolin when it came 6♠4♦A♦ to give him top pair.
Shylko's despair did not last long as he would spike a two outer on the J♣ turn to retake the lead and seal the deal.
The meaningless 9♣ river came to complete the board as Shylko avoided elimination with a set of jacks.
