Bet You He Folds
Daniel Negreanu opened to 18,000 from the cutoff before Brandon Wilson defended his big blind to go to a flop.
The flop came A♥3♠Q♣ before Wilson checked. Negreanu continued for 8,000 before he told David Coleman, who was out of the hand, his prediction on Wilson's action.
"I bet you $20 that he folds on the flop," Negreanu said. "He's got dust."
Wilson made the call to bring the K♠ turn as Negreanu paid Coleman. Both players checked as the K♦ peeled on the river.
Wilson chose to bet 24,000 on the river, which was quickly called by Negreanu.
Wilson tossed his cards in the muck as Negreanu tabled A♦2♦ to show that he had a pair of aces.
"You may have won the twenty dollars," Negreanu said to Coleman. "But I won the hand. I told you he had dust."
The very next hand, Cary Katz limped from middle position before Negreanu chose to raise to 32,000 from the hijack. Katz made the call.
Both players checked the 4♣9♥Q♦ flop to bring the 8♣ turn. Katz bet 25,000, and Negreanu called.
The 8♥ river peeled before both players checked.
Katz showed 10♣9♦, but it was Negreanu with the winner as he tabled K♠K♦, much to the amusement of the table.
