Vallinas Gives One, Then Gets It Right Back
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Action folded to Jon Vallinas on the button, who moved all in for 340,000. Jeremy Ausmus called from the big blind, putting his tournament life at risk.
Jeremy Ausmus: K♥J♥
Jon Vallinas: Q♦10♦
The board ran out A♣2♣5♦8♥6♥, offering no help to Vallinas and allowing Ausmus to double up.
On the very next hand, Vallinas was all in again and received a call from Henrik Hecklen in the big blind.
Jon Vallinas: A♠8♦
Henrik Hecklen: J♠10♣
The board of 7♠2♦Q♣9♥5♠ failed to improve either player, and Vallinas' ace-high was enough to earn him a double-up, winning back the chips he had just lost.
