The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas is gearing up for Event #93: $1,500 The Closer No-Limit Hold’em. This two-day tournament, with two starting flights, begins at noon local time on July 11, and we’ll have a bracelet winner on July 13.

The Closer gives poker players one of the final few opportunities to finish off the summer with a big win and leave Las Vegas with a gold bracelet before the shop closes up for the year.

Structure and Schedule

Day 1a of the $1,500 The Closer No-Limit Hold’em event starts at noon local time on July 11, with players receiving 50,000 starting chips. Blind levels are 30 minutes for the entire tournament. Day 1a (July 11) and 1b (July 12) will play 20 levels, with 20-minute breaks every four levels. There will be a 60-minute dinner break after Level 12 (around 6:40 p.m.). Registration is open for 12 levels plus the dinner break and will close at about 7:40 p.m.

Day 2 on July 13 will have a noon restart and play down to a winner. There will be 15-minute breaks every four levels, and a dinner break before the start of the final table.

Lukas Zaskodny is the defending champion from the 2025 $1,500 The Closer No-Limit Hold’em. Zaskodny beat a massive field with 4,297 entrants for the bracelet and a $648,130 payout.

Ching Da Wu won this same tournament in 2024, taking home $525,500 for outlasting a field of 3,215 entrants.
