Ren Lin raised from the small blind and John Monnette called in the big blind.
On the J♠J♥8♦ flop, Lin led and Monnette called.
Lin bet again on the 7♣ turn, Monnette raised, and Lin called.
On the 10♥ river, Lin check-called a final bet from Monnette, who tabled 10♠9♣ for a turned straight.
"Wow! Never bluff," Lin lamented as he was left with just a few chips.
Two hands later, Lin got his final 5,000 into the middle, at risk against Matthew Beinner in the big blind.
Ren Lin: A♦J♥
Matthew Beinner: 10♦10♣
It was a coinflip scenario, and Lin picked up extra outs on the turn, but the completed board of K♠8♣5♠Q♣5♥ could not save Lin, and he was sent to the rail.
