Suzuki's Bluff Fails Before Kihara Finishes the Job

Level 15

Seven Card Stud

Ryutaro Suzuki completed, Arthur Morris raised, and Suzuki called.

Ryutaro Suzuki: XxXx / 73Q4 / Xx
Arthur Morris: XxXx / K759 / Xx

Morris led on fourth and Suzuki called. He led again on fifth, Suzuki raised, and Morris called again.

On sixth, Morris check-called a bet, and Suzuki bet a final time on seventh. Morris did not like the situation but he decided to flick in the call after some deliberation. However, Suzuki could only show K54 in the hole for the lone pair of fours.

Morris was able to reveal K102, and his pair of kings was the winner.

Suzuki was left with 30,000 at the end of the hand, and he lost it to his compatriot Naoya Kihara the following hand, also in Stud.
