Deeb Builds After the Bubble

Level 18
Alex Foxen & Shaun Deeb
Alex Foxen & Shaun Deeb

Razz

Shaun Deeb: 4x6x4x / Jx7x8x8x
Alex Foxen: QxJx6x / 2xJx3x3x

Shaun Deeb scooped a hand against Matt Grapenthien when they checked down fifth to seventh street, and then called with a jack when Alex Foxen completed. Foxen bet all the way for the rest of the board with his advantage and Deeb called down with plenty of consideration.

Foxen showed a queen-jack only and Deeb won the pot with his jack-eight, which resulted in a side-eye by the table chip leader.

"I didn't like calling," Deeb told him.

Walter Chambers: Ax6x / 7x7x4xKx / 2x All in
Shaun Deeb: 3x8x / 7x10x9x10x / Ax

Walter Chambers was then all-in for 105,000 total on third street against Deeb. Despite pairing his sevens, Chambers still had outs, but Deeb improved on seventh street and spiked a low card to survive.
