Rabinowitz Ticks a Hellmuth Rant Off His Bucket List
Darren Rabinowitz raised to 240,000 from middle position, and Phil Hellmuth called from the small blind.
Hellmuth checked the 6♠J♦6♣ flop, and Rabinowitz fired a continuation-bet of 175,000. Hellmuth instantly check-raised to 350,000, which Rabinowitz called.
Hellmuth checked before seeing the 4♠ turn, and Rabinowitz checked behind. The A♠ completed the board, and after two more checks, Hellmuth tabled 9♣9♠ for a pair of nines. Rabinowitz revealed the winner with A♦10♦ for a rivered pair of aces.
Hellmuth immediately sprang to his feet and launched into a profanity-laced tirade.
Rabinowitz wasn't smiling at winning the pot, but instead he was over the moon at being sworn at by Hellmuth
"Yes, yes, it's happened to me!" he exclaimed, thrilled to have finally been on the receiving end of one of Hellmuth's trademark outbursts.
Hellmuth continued to voice his opinion of Rabinowitz as the next hand was dealt.
