Hand #16 - Ylon Schwartz

Darus Suharto has the button in Seat 5. Action folds to Dennis Phillips, who voluntarly puts chips into the pot for the first time with a raise to 900,000. Ylon Schwartz, not afraid of the fact that Phillips hasn't played a single hand yet, calls in position and we get our second flop.

It comes down {4-Spades} {2-Spades} {7-Clubs}. Phillips is first to act and bets 2.35 million. After a minute in the tank, Schwartz raises to 6 million straight, leaving himself a bit more than 7 million behind. Phillips doesn't betray any emotion regarding the raise, choosing instead to continue riffling chips, with occasional glances at Schwartz. Schwartz has his left hand on the side of his face and is staring at the felt. Apparently Phillips believes in the strength of Schwartz's hand, because he folds.

As a result of this hand, Dennis Phillips is no longer the chip leader. That title now belongs to Ivan Demidov.
