During a downtick in the action between hands, TD Jack Effel decided to try his hand at stand-up comedy.

"You know, every year that I do this I get fed two or three really bad jokes," began Effel. " But let's try this one out. What do vampires play poker for?"

There was a pause before Effel delivered the punchline. "High stakes!"

He was roundly booed by the audience.
