Ryynanen Doubles Through Steury

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Badacey

Finnish high-stakes PLO player Sampo Ryynanen got all of his money in before the first draw out of the small blind against Aaron Steury, who was in the cutoff. Both players drew two and then one and then stood pat.

Ryynanen turned over {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs} for a six-six, and Steury showed what looked like a seven-low before it was quickly mucked. He sent Ryynanen 4,500.

Imani and Fawaz Chop

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Badacey

Chawki Fawaz raised to 2,400 and Dariush Imani three-bet from the button to 3,600. Fawaz called and both players drew two and checked. Fawaz then took one as Imani took two again and both players checked again.

On the final draw, Fawaz stood pat and Imani drew one. Fawaz bet 2,400 and Imani called.

Fawaz tabled his {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for an eight-low as Imani tabled his {J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} for a jack-dugi as both players chopped the pot.

Cong KO'd by Jett

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of {K-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Seng Cong found himself all in holding {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} against Chip Jett's {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

The {3-Spades} turn gave Cong the nut flush, but the {2-Hearts} on the river would improve Jett's hand to a full house and consequently send Cong to the rail.

Eveslage Eliminates Bronshtein

Yuval Bronshtein

Badeucey

Chad Eveslage in the small blind and Yuval Bronshtein in the big blind got four bets in before the draw and each drew one. After the draw, Eveslage bet, Bronshtein raised, Eveslage reraised, and Bronshtein called his last 800 or so. Eveslage drew one.

"You'll be happy now," Bronshtein said. "I misread my hand."

Bronshtein also drew one, and Eveslage stood pat on the final draw. Again, Bronshtein asked for one card.

Eveslage announced an eight-eight and turned over {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} with a badugi. Bronshtein had {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} so he was drawing live, but a {7-Spades} did nothing for him and he's out.

Martin Doubles with Number Five

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Daniel Hirleman opened in the cutoff to 1,700 only to have Jesse Martin three-bet shove the button to 10,200. After a few moments of consideration, Hirleman called and both players drew one.

Hirleman revealed his {10-}{9-}{6-}{5-} and then squeezed a {K-} while Martin fanned his {8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

Martin began squeezing his card and then announced, "It's fifty-fifty!"

Martin slammed down the {5-} to make a number five and double to over 20,000 in chips.

Rodawig Over Richardson

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Badugi

Eric Rodawig was under the gun and check-called a bet from Alan Richardson before the final draw. Rodawig drew one, and we didn't see if Richardson took any cards. They both checked the end and Richardson announced a king.

"Red," Rodawig said hopefully as he looked at his last card. "Six."

Rodawig showed {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades} and swept up the pot.
