Day 2 of the Event #11: $1,500 Dealers Choice 6-Handed has come to a conclusion with just nine players remaining and David Bach holding the chip lead and eyeing his second WSOP bracelet.

The day started with 89 players looking to make a run at firstly reaching the money before mounting a charge towards the final table. Unfortunately the likes of Yuval Bronshtein, Jake Schwartz, Aaron Steury, Jeff Madsen, Yueqi Zhu, John Racener, and Eric Rodawig all fell short of the money before David Macklin would be eliminated on the bubble when his aces were outdrawn in Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo by his opponent's straight and low.

With 55 players now guaranteed a $2,253 payday, the quick rate of play continued as the likes of Tom Franklin (50th), Ray Henson (47th), Chris Ferguson (44th), Kyle Bowker (38th), Scott Bohlman (33rd), Marco Johnson (30th), Tommy Hang (29th), David Benyamine (28th), Mark Gregorich (27th), Jesse Martin (20th), Alex Luneau (15th), Jon Turner (13th), and Justin Bonomo (10th) all fell short of a Day 3 berth.

Amazingly, two previous champions made the money as Lawrence Berg finished 45th after winning this event in 2016, while Robert Mizrachi had a tremendous run that ended in 12th place after missing a huge wrap and flush draw against David Bach. That hand, along with a huge double through Bonomo before he was eliminated, catapulted Bach up the leaderboard before he eventually bagged the chip lead with an impressive 798,500 in chips.

Right on his heels however is Christopher Sensoli who ended the day with 552,000, while Chip Jett rounds out the top three with 305,500. However with big betting limits already in play, the shorter stacks only need a little bit of life and luck and they too can rocket up the leaderboard. Here is how Day 3 will line-up:

From the button, Christopher Sensoli opened to 12,000 and Justin Bonomo called in the big blind.

The flop fell {3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Bonomo checked to Sensoli who bet the pot of 26,500. Bonomo responded by moving all in for 78,000 and Sensoli called.

Three Bets Left for Bonomo

mnuwwarah • Level 20: 10,000-20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo Regular

Everyone except David Bach played for a complete bet at Table 716, with Justin Bonomo leading the betting on the first round. Brandon Cantu was the only one who mucked on fourth when Christopher Sensoli bet and Bonomo raised.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Cantu: {x-}{x-}/{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} (folded on fourth street)
Kevin Iacofano: {x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Sensoli: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Iacofano bet fifth when he caught another wheel card, and Bonomo and Sensoli called. Iacofano then bet sixth, got called by Sensoli and then raised by Bonomo. Iacofano reraised.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-}/{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Cantu: {x-}{x-}/{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} (folded on fourth street)
Kevin Iacofano: {x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Sensoli: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} (folded on sixth street)

"Wow," Sensoli said. "Could end the tournament right here."

He decided to fold though, and Iacofano put in one last bet that was just shy of a full one on the end for his remaining chips. Bonomo called. Iacofano showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for aces and a six-four.

"He gets it all," Bonomo said softly, tabling {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}. "I assume aces on seventh?"

Iacofano confirmed that was the case.

Freeman checked, Kim bet 20,000, and Freeman called before both players stood pat.

Freeman checked for a third time and Kim bet out 20,000 with Freeman calling and tabling his {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} as Kim tabled his {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to see the pot chopped up.

2-7 Triple Draw

From the button, Kevin Iacofano raised to 20,000 and David Bach called in the big blind and drew three to Iacofano's one.

Bach checked and Iacofano bet 10,000 with Bach calling and drawing two to Iacofano's one.

Bach checked, Iacofano bet 20,000 and Bach raised to 40,000. After a few moments of deliberation, Iacofano called and drew one once Bach stood pat.

Bach checked, Iacofano bet 20,000 and Bach called.

"Pair!" announced Iacofano as he tabled his {6-}{5-}{2-}{4-}{4-} while Bach quickly fanned his {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to scoop the pot and further his chip lead to nearly 700,000.

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Sampo Ryynanen raised to 12,000 under the gun, and Scott Milkey defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Milkey potted for 26,500. Ryynanen called for a little under half of his stack. On the {7-Diamonds} turn, Milkey jammed for about 30,000 effective.

"Okee-dokee," Ryynanen said, pushing his stack in.

Ryynanen: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Milkey: {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Ryynanen had a huge draw that included the nut flush, while Milkey had two pair, blockers, and a five-low draw. The river was a {4-Clubs}, giving Milkey fours full and eliminating Ryynanen.

Freeman Doubles Through Ryynanen

mnuwwarah • Level 20: 10,000-20,000, 0 ante

Just before the level went up, Sampo Ryynanen raised in middle position and Zachary Freeman made it three bets out of the big blind. Ryynanen called. Both drew one. Ryynanen called another bet, and Freeman was pat. Ryynanen was still drawing though, and Freeman put in his final 8,000 or so on the last street. Ryynanen again called and patted behind this time.

"I was short-stacked so I had to get it in light," Freeman joked, rolling over {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for a seven-badugi. Ryynanen flashed what looked like an eight-badugi before mucking.
