Agarwal Overbets the River

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Aditya Agarwal is among the tournament chip leaders and he just laddered even closer to the pole position, which is believed to be currently occupied by either Matt Berkey or Justin Bonomo.

Agarwal's latest victory emerged when he defended his big blind over a 5,200 raise from the button, provided Joseph Di Rosa Rojas.

The {4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} fell on the flop and Agarwal check-called another 5,000 before the {5-Diamonds} turn went check-check.

The {9-Clubs} on the river double-paired the board and Agarwal opted to lead big. He took some of his orange chips worth 5,000 apiece and then slid forward an overbet of 32,000. Rojas contemplated for a bit but he eventually wasn't willing to pay.
