Timoshenko Triples Up

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After moving to the other side of the Amazon Room, Yevgeniy Timoshenko found his lucky seat beside Tom Hall. The action was folded to Timoshenko and he piled his remaining 17,300 chips into the pot. He got calls in two different spots and when the hands were tabled Timoshenko was in a world of trouble. He showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} but was up against one player with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and another one with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

But the board ran out {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, meaning Timoshenko was able to hit a king on the turn to keep his tournament hopes alive. Said Hall to Timoshenko, "Oh Timmy, you run so good!"
