Mike Gorodinksy opened with a raise for what looked like 60,000. Action folded around to John Monnette in the big blind and he thought about it before moving all in. Gorodinsky thought for about a minute before calling.

Both players stood pat. Gorodinsky showed {9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} but he was just pipped by Monnette's {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Monnette took down the pot while Gorodinsky was sent to the rail in sixth place, collecting $42,357 for his run.

Chen Doubles Through Kyablue

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 5,000 ante
James Chen
James Chen

James Chen had saw his stack dwindle to just over ten big blinds until he got it all in the middle against Xavier Kyablue. Kyablue had opened to 55,000 and called Chen's shove for 251,000.

Kyablue drew one and Chen stood pat. Chen tabled a {10-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{2-} and was at risk against Kyablue's {10-}{7-}{5-}{2-} draw. Luckily Kyablue paired his five and Chen scored the double-up.

Monnette Picks Off Kyablue's Bluff

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 5,000 ante

John Monnette opened with a raise to 51,000. Action folded around to Xavier Kyablue on the button and he made it 150,000 to go. Monnette called.

Both players stood pat and Monnette checked to Kyablue. Kyablue put out a big bet of 200,000 and Monnette called after just a few seconds of thought. Kyablue half laughed and half sighed as he realized he'd been caught. He started to turn up his cards slowly, but before he could Monnette showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}, allowing Kyablue to muck his bluff. With that pot Monnette took control of the chip lead.

Kyablue Finds a Double From Elias

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 5,000 ante

Darren Elias opened with a raise to 50,000. Next to act on the button, Xavier Kyablue reraised all in for a total of 346,000. Action folded back around to Elias and, after getting a count, he called.

Elias took one while Kyablue stood pat and showed {10-}{9-}{8-}{4-}{2-}. Elias had {8-}{6-}{4-}{2-} but pulled a {j-} on his last draw and was forced to send over the chips to double up Kyablue.

Per Hildebrand opened to 60,000 and called a three-bet jam from James Chen, putting Chen at risk.

Hildebrand stood pat, sending Chen into the tank. Chen eventually decided to draw one but was drawing dead as Hildebrand's pat {9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} already had Chen's {9-}{8-}{6-}{3-} crushed.

Chen received $57,316 for his fifth-place finish.
