Sammartino Folds to Shove; Doubles After

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 2,500 ante

Dario Sammartino raised to 25,000 and Paul Volpe called out of the big blind. Volpe drew two and Sammartino drew one. Volpe checked and Sammartino bet 42,000 before facing the check-raise all in of Volpe. After plenty of consideration, Sammartino folded and was left short.

Sammartino shoved the next hand and John Monnette asked for a count. The all in was for 70,500 and Monnette called on the button. Both players stood pat and Sammartino announced a ten. "Go ahead," Monnette said and Sammartino showed {10-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}.

Monnette briefly showed his slightly inferior {10-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and Sammartino doubled.

Chen Gets Some From Volpe

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante

Xavier Kyablue folded from the cutoff and four of his cards were accidentally exposed - {10-}{8-}{7-}{4-}, much to the surprise of several other players at the table.

Action folded to James Chen in the small blind and he raised to 36,000. Paul Volpe called from the big blind.

They each drew one, Chen bet 40,000, and Volpe called after a few moments.

Chen showed {A-}{10-}{8-}{7-}{4-} for an ace-ten. Volpe flashed {2-}{2-} (which he had made successful calls with earlier in the day) and mucked, giving Chen the pot.

Leah Takes Most of It

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante
Mike Leah
Mike Leah

James Chen raised to 35,000 and John Monnette reraised to 82,000 out of the small blind to force a fold from Chen.

Mike Leah raised to 35,000 from under the gun and Darren Elias called in the small blind. Both players drew one card and Elias checked. "You have around 280?" Leah asked and Elias nodded, then quickly folded when Leah bet 80,000.

Monnette raised to 32,000 and Leah defended the big blind. Leah drew one and Monnette took two before Leah bet 70,000. That was enough to take down the pot as Monnette folded.

Last but not least, Per Hildebrand raised to 35,000 and Leah called in the small blind. Both players stood pat and checked. Leah flipped over {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{5-} and Hildebrand also showed a ten before sending his cards into the muck.

Big Pot for Elias

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 3,000 ante
Darren Elias
Darren Elias

Paul Volpe raised to 36,000 on the button and Darren Elias three-bet out of the big blind to force a fold.

Volpe raised to 32,000 the next hand and John Monnette three-bet to 95,000 in order to see Volpe release his cards.

Elias then raised to 32,000 on the button and Mike Gorodinsky called in the small blind. Mike Leah in the big blind double-checked the stack of Elias before calling as well and all three players drew one. Gorodinsky and Leah both checked and Elias bet 135,000. Gorodinsky eventually called after some consideration and Leah said "okay" before sending his cards into the muck.

Elias tabled the {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and won the pot.
