Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

Xavier Kyablue raised to 12,000 from under the gun, Konstantin Maslak called from the small blind, Galen Hall three-bet shoved from the big blind for 60,000, Kyablue folded, and Maslak called.

An Ace Works for Sammartino

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Mizrachi raised to 10,000 on the button and Mike Leah called in the small blind called, as did Dario Sammartino in the big blind. Each of the three players drew one card each and Leah checked. Sammartino checked as well before Mizrachi bet 28,000. Leah quickly folded, but Sammartino stared at his opponent for a minute before calling.

Mizrachi rolled over a pair and Sammartino had that beat with {A-}{9-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

Following the draw, Dario Sammartino was in the tank in the small blind. His bet of 13,000 had been raised to 75,000 by Mike Leah on the button (we were told later that both players had drawn one card).

Sammartino tanked for about three minutes before he called, but mucked when Leah tabled {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

The Action Slows Down

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

On the button, Konstantin Maslak raised to 10,000 and Xavier Kyablue called in the big blind. Both players drew one card and checked. Kyablue announced a pair and Maslak claimed the pot with {Q-}{10-}{8-}{5-}{3-}.

Soon after, Mike Watson raised to 11,000 in the small blind and Maslak defended his big blind. Again. one card each was drawn and the duo checked. Watson showed {Q-}{J-}{10-}{8-}{6-} and Maslak mucked.

Maslak, Galen Hall at the same table, and Hertzel Zalewski are the three short stacks right now while the action has slowed down considerably in the last half an hour.

Pots for Kyablue and Volpe

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

Mike Watson raised to 10,000 and Galen Hall moved all in for around 83,000 in the big blind, which forced a fold from Watson.

Soon after, Paul Volpe raised to 11,100 and Xavier Kyablue defended his big blind. Kyablue drew one card and Volpe took two. Kyablue bet 25,000 and Volpe called, then quickly mucked wen Kyablue flashed {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

James Chen raised to 12,000 in the small blind and Per Hildebrand three-bet to 36,000 out of the big blind. Chen called and both players drew one. Chen checked and eventually folded after Hildebrand had continued for 40,000.

Ray Dehkharghani Eliminated by Darren Elias

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 1,000 ante
Ray Dehkharghani
Ray Dehkharghani

Darren Elias got dealt another pat eight and eliminated Ray Dehkharghani.

The hand started with an open from Dario Sammartino on the button to 11,000. Elias three-bet from the small blind, making it 38,000. Dehkharghani asked for the amount of the raise, then went all in for 189,000. Sammartino folded and Elias called shortly after getting a count of Dehkharghani's remaining stack.

Elias slid in one chip to call and quickly stood pat. Dehkharghani flipped through his hand and tossed away one card. Elias rolled over {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} so Dehkharghani knew what he needed to draw. Dehkharghani showed {7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and asked if Elias was okay with a peel. Elias said yes.

Dehkhargani slowly peeled back the {a-Clubs} and was eliminated.
