Negreanu Loses a Big One, Wins a Big One

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Oscar Johansson check-called a bet from Daniel Negreanu after the first draw, and each player took a card. Johansson came out betting, and Negreanu raised. Johansson made it three bets, and Negreanu called. Johansson patted, and Negreanu said he was breaking.

"I'm thinking of a card," he said.

Evidently he didn't get it, as he folded to a bet on the end.

Negreanu then opened under the gun the next hand and had the player on his left three-bet him. Negreanu came back with a raise, and his opponent called. Both players took one, and Negreanu bet and got called. Negreanu was pat this time, and his opponent took another card. Action repeated, and Negreanu showed down {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.
