"I can't call you," he said simply, showing {7-}{7-}.

Batow showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}.

The three-time bracelet winner will need to get something going in a hurry if he wants to add a fourth.

Jon Turner and Brendan Taylor raised each other after the first draw to the point where they had four bets apiece in there, and Taylor patted. Turner drew one and called a bet. Taylor patted again, and Turner drew, and both checked on the end.

Taylor rolled over {9-}{8-}{7-}{3-}{2-}, and Turner seemed a bit disgusted but couldn't beat it.

Robert Mizrachi got short for a moment and then won a couple hands and gained some momentum. One of those hands was against Andrew Kelsall, who was left with a short stack after Mizrachi defended his big blind against an early-position raise from Kelsall.

Kelsall opened, and Mizrachi defended and then drew four on the first draw against Kesall's two. Mizrachi led, and eventually, Kelsall let the hand go, leaving himself with just above 20,000.

Brian Brubaker is leading the way on the table, and Day 1 chip leader Mark Roland is also at the table. Dean Kerl is the last member of the table, sporting a sparkling hoodie and a big smile since joining this tournament thanks to the decision of a coin flip on Day 1.

Michael Wagner raised under the gun, and Max Kruse defended his big blind. Each player took a card, and Kruse check-called a bet. They each drew one again, checked, and drew once more. Kruse checked on the end, and Wagner bet. Kruse stole a glance at Wagner as he grabbed a stack of chips to cut out 8,000. He tossed in a call.

"Pair," Wagner said.

Kruse opened {8-}{6-}{5-}{2-}{a-}.
