Hand #34: Gaurav Raina Calls Griffin Abel's Bluff

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Gaurav Raina
Gaurav Raina

In the first hand of the new level, Gaurav Raina raised to 135,000 in middle position, Griffin Abel called in the small blind, and Eric Cloutier called in the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, and all three players checked. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Abel bet 225,000, Cloutier folded, and Raina called. The river was the {9-Diamonds}, and Abel led out 275,000. Raina went into the tank, and after several minutes, the clock was called. After a few more seconds, Raina put chips forward to call.

"You're good," Abel told him and showed {6-Spades}{5-Spades}. Raina tabled {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and collected the pot.

One of Moshe's railbirds chimed in, "Nice hand, aces guy!"

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #32: Eric Cloutier raised to 110,000 in early position, and Asi Moshe called in the big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and Moshe bet 120,000. Cloutier called, and the turn was the {10-Clubs}. Moshe again led out, — this time for 150,000 — and Cloutier called again.

On the {4-Hearts} river, they both checked, and Cloutier tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. It was good for the pot.

Hand #33: Asi Moshe raised to 155,000 in the small blind, and Griffin Abel called in the big blind. On the {J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Moshe continued for 145,000, and Abel folded.

Hands #23-31: Raina Gets Some Support

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #23: [Removed:153] raised to 110,000 on the button, and James Calvo called in the small blind. On the {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Calvo checked, and Stenholm bet 115,000. Calvo check-raised to 300,000 and forced a fold.

Hand #24: Calvo raised to 200,000 on the button and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #25: Asi Moshe received a walk in the big blind. Gaurav Raina turned to Moshe's rail and joked, "No celebration here, guys?" as the rail from Israel had celebrated before. They obliged and cheered loudly.

Hand #26: Eddy Sabat shoved from the button to claim the blinds and antes.

Hand #27: Moshe made it 110,000 to go on the button, and that won the pot.

Hand #28: Raina opened to 110,000, and Moshe three-bet to 315,000 in the cutoff. Raina gave it some thought, then grinned to the rail with the words, "Go ahead," before sending his cards into the muck. Moshe's rail cheered, and one of them said, "This guy is all right."

Hand #29: Stenholm shoved from the small blind and won the big blind and antes.

Hand #30: Raina got a walk in the big blind, and the rail of Moshe cheered for him.

Hand #31: Raina limped from the small blind, and Sabat checked. On the {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, both players checked. After the {5-Diamonds} turn, Raina checked, and Sabat bet 55,000 to scoop the pot.

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Giuseppe Pantaleo
Giuseppe Pantaleo

Hand #22: Asi Moshe raised to 110,000 in middle position, Giuseppe Pantaleo called on the button, and James Calvo called in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and Calvo checked. Moshe bet 140,000, and action was on Pantaleo. He thought for a long while, then raised to 370,000. Calvo folded, and Moshe moved all in. Pantaleo snap-called, and they showed down.

Moshe: {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Pantaleo: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Pantaleo had flopped the nuts with a straight to the jack, but when he saw Moshe's hand, he walked away from the table.

The {K-Diamonds} came on the turn, and Moshe made the flush to take the lead. The {K-Hearts} river was insignificant, and Pantaleo was eliminated in eighth place for a payout of $43,154.

Gaurav Raina

Hand #21: [Removed:153] raised to 100,000 under the gun, and Giuseppe Pantaleo called in the big blind. The flop was {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and Pantaleo checked. Stenholm continued for 125,000, and Pantaleo folded. Gaurav Raina moved all in for 605,000 in early position, and Eddy Sabat re-shoved in middle position. The remaining players folded, and Raina was at risk but in good shape.

Raina: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Sabat: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

Sabat made a pair of kings on the {K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop, but the {3-Clubs} turn and the {8-Clubs} river did not help him. Raina doubled up.

Hand #17: Giuseppe Pantaleo raised to 110,000 from early position, and Asi Moshe called out of the big blind. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and both players checked. The same applied to the {A-Hearts} turn before Moshe check-folded the {Q-Clubs} river to a bet of 140,000 by Pantaleo.

Hand #18: Eddy Sabat raised to 140,000 on the button, and Moshe three-bet to 495,000 in the small blind. Griffin Abel four-bet all in from the big blind, and Sabat asked for a count. The all in was for 1,600,000, and Sabat folded. Moshe did so, as well, after some consideration.

Hand #19: Moshe raised to 110,000 on the button, and Eric Cloutier called from the big blind. The flop of {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Spades} was followed by a check from Cloutier and a bet of 80,000 by Moshe, which ended the hand right there.

Scott Margereson

Cloutier: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}, giving Cloutier trip aces to win the hand. Margereson hits the rail in 9th place, earning him $33,087.

Hands #9-14: Cloutier Doubles Through Margereson

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Cloutier
Eric Cloutier

Before the action got back underway, the finalists were informed that they'll play the full ten levels or down to six players, whichever comes first.

Hand #9: Asi Moshe received a walk in the big blind, and his rail from Israel applauded. "He played that so well. He threw the ante with a curve."

Hand #10: Scott Margereson moved all in and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #11: [Removed:153] raised to 110,000, and Griffin Abel called in the small blind. The flop fell {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and Abel checked. Stenholm bet 175,000, and that won the pot.

Hand #13: Margereson shoved for the second time since coming back from dinner. This time, Eric Cloutier called from the small blind, and the cards were turned over.

Eric Cloutier: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Scott Margereson: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Cloutier was the player at risk, and the British rail demanded a king once the flop fell {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. However, both the {4-Spades} turn and the {3-Clubs} river were blanks, and Cloutier doubled for 610,000 in total. Margereson was reduced to just four big blinds as a result.

Hand #14: James Calvo raised to 150,000 under the gun, Asi Moshe called in late position, Griffin Abel called in the cutoff, and [Removed:153] called in the big blind.

On the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, it checked to Moshe, and he bet 225,000. Abel went all in for 730,000, Stenhold folded, Calvo folded, and after a pause, Moshe folded too.
