As the Event #3: $3,000 No Limit Hold'em Shootout approaches the first break of the day, here are a few quick updates on the field.

Andy Philachack is already up to 38,000 with six players remaining at his table. Registration is still open for another 20 minutes, so he might have to go through another player or two once all the players are seated.
Taylor Paur shoved the river on Humberto Brenes. The board was and Brenes had bet an unknown amount using a 5,000 chip. Paur was all in for 9,250 into the pot of about 9,400. Brenes folded.
Liv Boeree has joined the field. Boeree and Igor Kurganov bagged a stack last night in the Event #2: $10,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em Championship which restarts at 2 p.m.
