Battle of the Short Stacks

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Thao Thiem raised from under the gun and was called by Andrey Zhigalov in the hijack as well as Aron Dermer in the small blind.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Dermer checked. Thiem bet. Zhigalov raised. Dermer three-bet. Thiem called. Zhigalov called for 30,000 total and was all in.

Both Dermer and Thiem then checked the {q-Hearts} on the turn as well as the {k-Diamonds} on the river.

Dermer: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Zhigalov: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Thiem: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Dermer took three-quarters taking the high with ace-jack and half the low with an ace-deuce. Zhigalov took a quarter with the same low hand.
