A Double for Gregory Fair

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

We caught up to the hand with action on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. After a raise by Gregory Fair, Randall Chamberlain moved all in with a covering stack. Fair quickly called and their hands were turned up.

Chamberlain: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Fair: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {j-Spades} and the {10-Diamonds} and that secured the double-up for Fair who had moved all in for 315,000.

Murray Rising Further

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
William Murray
William Murray

With plenty of chips already in the middle, William Murray checked the {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts} turn and Sean Byrne on the button fired a bet of 145,000. Murray called and both players then checked the {J-Diamonds} river that paired the board.

Murray was first to show and flipped over {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} to win the pot and cross the million-chip mark.

Triple For Seth Brown

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Seth Brown
Seth Brown

After his live misclick earlier, Seth Brown has made a nice recovery after earning a triple-up through Ron Jenkins and Paul Spitzberg. Brown moved all in over a raise and was called in both spots.

Brown: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Spitzberg: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Jenkins: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The board came out {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, which was safe all the way for Brown and he was able to quickly recover from his earlier mistake.

"I thought I was done after I messed up earlier," Brown said in reference to the earlier hand.

"Well, usually when that kinda stuff happens, you win those hands," one of the tournament floors told him.

Murray Busts Knutzen

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

David Knutzen was all in and at risk with the {A-Hearts}{4-Spades} and was called by William Murray from San Francisco who tabled {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the better kicker. Knutzen picket up some outs on the {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} turn but, ultimately, the {6-Diamonds} on the river was a blank to eliminate Knutzen in 43rd place.

Dave James Gets Three-Outted For His Tournament Life

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

After a raise from Harvey Lewis, Dave James moved all in. Lewis called with a covering stack.

Lewis: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
James: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and that left James in the lead, but the {J-Hearts} on the turn made Lewis' hand best. The {J-Spades} on the river only further solidified the elimination and James was sent to the rail.
