If They Keep On Leaving, Bubble Gonna Burst

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Just 15 minutes of this level remain, with one more hour-long level to play before the remaining players bag for the night.

With 342 players left and 255 places getting played, several tables are speculating on whether they will get to the money tonight. Several were not enamored at the prospect of coming back tomorrow with a short stack.

It looks like it's going to be close, and time will tell.

Scott Davies Takes A Hit

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Scott Davies had an opponent all in and on the ropes as Davies was the bigger stack and tabled {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} against his opponent’s {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} to cost Davies 14,500 chips.

“I thought you were making a move on him. I didn’t think you had an ace,” his fortunate opponent explained as he sat back down to stack his chips.

Karim Folds to Les

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Zo Karim opened to 1,600 from the cutoff, and Jason Les defended from the big blind.

On the {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Les check-called Karim's bet of 1,900. On the {4-Hearts} turn, Les checked again, and Karim bet 4,700. Les responded with a check-raise to 20,000, and Karim went into the tank. Karim eventually folded, and Les took down the pot as their table broke.

Cantu Can Do

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Michael Mizrachi opened to 1,250 from the hijack, the cutoff re-raised to 4,500 total, and Brandon Cantu went all in from the button for around 38,000 total. Mizrachi folded, and the cutoff thought for a bit, closed her eyes, and said, "Call," for her remaining 9,500 or so behind.

Cantu: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Hijack: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and Cantu held to win the hand and eliminate his opponent.
