Aldridge Takes a Hit Early

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With about 12,000 in the pot and the board reading {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Spades}, Ken Aldridge was under the gun and led out for 2,800. Gary Lucci was on the button and raised to 5,000. Aldridge reraised to 10,000 and Lucci called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Aldridge moved all in for roughly 40,000. Lucci called with 21,800 remaining and tabled {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush. Aldridge showed {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes.

The river was the {8-Spades} and Aldridge couldn't improve, vaulting Lucci up the leaderboard.
