Terry Schumacher Bursts the Bubble

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

During hand for hand play, we came to the {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop, with about 19,000 in the pot already. Terry Schumacher, the player in the hijack, and the player on the button were both all-in. Schumacher had a total of 23,000 and the player on the button had a total of 18,000.

Play was stopped until the floor came by and asked the players to table their cards and that the action continue.

The cards were tabled and Schumacher showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for the nut flush draw and the player on the button showed {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a set.

The dealer slowly burned and turned the {4-Spades} giving Schumacher the nut flush. The {2-Hearts} completed the board and Schumacher eliminated his opponent on the bubble.
