Day 1 of Event #37: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Starts Today!

Players from around the globe will hit the felt at 11:00 a.m. local time to fire up another World Series of Poker bracelet event. Day 1 of Event #37: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em is on deck for three days of poker to award an elusive gold bracelet and a pile of cash.

The event starts players off with 5,000 chips playing 60-minute levels. There will be a break every two levels lasting 20 minutes each, plus a 90-minute dinner break after Level 6 coming at around 5:40 p.m. Late registration will close after the end of the dinner break (and start of Level 7) at approximately 7:10 p.m.

Last year's champion was Chase Bianchi, topping a field of 2,242 entries for a prize pool totaling $2,017,800. He took home a whopping $316,920 for his win, along with the coveted gold WSOP bracelet.
