Hands #45-50: Gathy Doubles Up

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #45: Michael Gathy pushed all in for his remaining 285,000 and was called by Eric Blair. Both players had the same hand: {a-Spades}{10-Spades} and {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, respectively. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} and it was a chopped pot.

Hand #46: Reginald Hampton limped from the cutoff and Gathy checked his big blind. The flop was {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Hampton took down the pot with a bet of 60,000.

Hand #47: James Hughes raised to 65,000 from under the gun and everyone folded.

Hand #48: Gathy raised all in from the button for 265,000 and Hughes instantly called from the big blind. Gathy held {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and was ahead of the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} from Hughes. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Gathy was able to double up.

Hand #49: Vlad Darie raised to 60,000 and Eric Blair three-bet to 230,000 out of the big blind. Darie folded.

Hand #50: Darie raised to 60,000 from under the gun and was called by Thomas Reynolds in the cutoff, Blair in the small blind, and Hampton in the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} and the action was checked to Reynolds who bet 80,000 which got everyone to fold.
