Tensions Rising at Table 728

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Dimitrios Magdalinos bet into two opponents on seventh street with three diamonds on board.

Magdalinos: {x-}{x-}/{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}/{x-}
Eric Pratt: {x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}/{x-}
Don Zewin: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}{10-Spades}/{x-}

Both players called, and Magdalinos rolled over {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for a flush and a seven-five. Pratt mucked {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, showing his own seven-low, and Zewin just mucked.

"That's a good hand, sir," Bill Kohler said. "Maybe you can stop bitching now."

Magdalinos fired something back and then told the supervisor not to allow Kohler to have any more Scotch.

"Maybe you should give him a penalty for being out of line," Kohler grumbled.
