"That Was Unfortunate"

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Albert Daher opened with a raise to 4,500 from the hijack. Phil Hellmuth defended his big blind with a call.

The flop was {9-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Hellmuth checked. Daher continued with a bet of 5,500 and Hellmuth called. On the {10-Clubs} turn, Hellmuth checked again. Daher bet 11,500 and Hellmuth called.

The river was the {K-Diamonds} and Hellmuth checked quickly. Daher bet 15,000 and Hellmuth thought for a while before pitching his cards away.

"That was unfortunate," Hellmuth said. "It was going to be a big pot on the turn."
