Big Pot on the Bubble Vaults Albert Daher Close to the Top

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Albert Daher opened with a raise under the gun. Action folded around to Oliver Weis in the big blind, and he raised, making it a total of 79,000 to play. Daher thought for a while before calling.

The flop was {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, and Weis continued with a bet of 59,000. Daher called. On the {5-Spades} turn, Weis led out again, this time for 136,000. Daher called once more. Both players checked the {10-Spades} on the river. Weis showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, but it was no good; Daher was holding {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for a flopped set.

"I knew it," Weis said after the hand.

With that, Daher was boosted close to the top of the chip counts, while Weis moved to the middle of the pack.
