Stoyan Obreshkov Eliminated in 11th Place ($75,915)

Level 35 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante
Stoyan Obreshkov
Stoyan Obreshkov

Stoyan Obreshkov raised to 625,000 from the hijack and Brian Yoon three-bet to 1,600,000 from the cutoff. After about a minute, Obreshkov moved all in for 7,050,000. Yoon asked for a count and paused before deciding to call.

Obreshkov was at risk and well ahead with {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} while Yoon held a dominated {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Yoon pulled ahead with a pair of jacks. Obreshkov could still hit a king for a bigger pair or a ten for a straight, but the turn was the {q-Spades} and the river was the {j-Hearts}. Yoon filled up and Obreshkov, who was the chip leader coming into the day, is now on the rail.

Will Failla was all in from the cutoff for his last 1,325,000. Salvatore DiCarlo called on the button, and Pfizer Jordan moved all in from the big blind. DiCarlo folded.

Failla was well behind with {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, up against Jordan's {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. He already declared he was going to triple up this hand, and even said a prayer while DiCarlo was left to act.

The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Failla picked up some outs to make a straight in addition to the remaining queens in the deck.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Failla made his straight. He cheered as the {2-Diamonds} hit the river and scooped up the pot.

Ihar Soika

With about 1,300,000 in the pot already, on a board reading {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Joldis Cosmin checked from the small blind, and Ihar Soika bet 475,000 from under the gun. Cosmin thought for a moment and called.

Cosmin tanked for a minute and eventually tossed in a single chip to call. Soika quickly tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for bottom set, and Cosmin flashed {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for top two pair before mucking his cards and paying the bet.
