Salvatore DiCarlo
Salvatore DiCarlo

Scott Baumstein was on the button and all in before the flop, with his tournament life at risk. Salvatore DiCarlo was in the cutoff and gave him action.

Baumstein had {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} in front of him, while DiCarlo revealed {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The dealer fanned the flop reading {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}, leaving just three queens in the deck for DiCarlo to hit, or running cards for a chop. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, giving DiCarlo a few more outs to get his chips back.

"Deuce!" yelled DiCarlo. The river was the {2-Diamonds} for a chop and Baumstein yelled, "F***!". The two players grabbed their chips back, and DiCarlo smiled and yelled out to his rail, "Full house!"

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

With about 1,000,000 chips in the middle and the board reading {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}, Brian Yoon checked from the big blind. Will Failla was under the gun and bet 400,000. Yoon called.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Yoon checked again. Failla quickly bet 500,000, and Yoon went into the tank before deciding to check-raise to 1,550,000. Failla then went into the tank and started talking aloud. He eventually said, "...unless you have ace-jack." After a while, Failla called.

Sure enough, Yoon tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} for two pair and Failla mucked.

Montgomery and Cosmin Three-Betting

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Scott Montgomery and Joldis Cosmin have been the most aggressive players on Brasilia 2 thus far. Whether it be their playing style or the cards they are picking up, nobody knows as they have been forcing their opponents to fold before showdown.

Just now William Gibbons opened the pot to 260,000 from the cutoff and Montogomery three-bet to 625,000. Gibbons called and the flop came {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Gibbons checked to Montgomery who bet 500,000 and Gibbons folded.

After that Stoyan Obreshkov raised to 250,000 from the cutoff and Cosmin three-bet to 850,000 which Obreshkov called. The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Cosmin led out for 925,000 to take down the pot.
