Dong Guo Clobbered by Quad Queens

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Dong Guo
Dong Guo

There was an all-in shove from a late position player and a call from Satsuki Ochiai before Dong Guo moved all in as well. Ochiai called Guo's push, too, and the three players showed their cards:

First player: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Satsuki Ochiai: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Dong Guo: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}. A jack in the window gave brief hope to the short stack, but the queen on flop and river busted him while leaving Guo decidedly low on chips. The busted player took a photo on his phone as a souvenir before departing.

Baumstein Adds to His Stack

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Scott Baumstein
Scott Baumstein

Scott Baumstein was in the cutoff and raised to 4,000 and the big blind defended. The flop was {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and after it was checked to him Baumstein bet 5,000 and was called. Both players then checked the {7-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river.

The big blind tabled {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens and Baumstein showed {k-Clubs}{7-Spades} for the same pair but with a bigger kicker to take down the pot.

Three Kings to 300K For Navot Golan

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

According to the table, Navot Golan built up his massive 345,000-chip stack by cracking aces, all in before the flop.

Golan held ace-king, and was all in against ace-ten and pocket aces. The dealer put two kings on the flop and left the other two players drawing virtually dead.

Golan now sits on a "Monster" stack and is leading his table by heaps.

Bill “Trey” Burton Doubles Through Maurice Hawkins

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Maurice Hawkins opened the pot and Bill “Trey” Burton moved all in for a touch over 40,000. Hawkins had a quick glance at his opponent’s stack and called.

Bill Burton: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Maurice Hawkins {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Burton looked a relieved man to have doubled up as the bubble creeps closer while Hawkins got back to work on the next hand opening another pot.

Affleck Eliminated by Sepman

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

Matt Affleck was in the small blind and limped in. Yulius Sepman was in the big blind and checked.

The flop was {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Affleck checked. Sepman bet 2,000 and Affleck check-raised to 6,500, Sepman called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and Affleck led out for what appeared to be 8,500, Sepman called.

The river was the {k-Spades}. Affleck moved all in and was snap-called by Sepman. Affleck flashed {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Sepman tabled {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a full house, taking down the pot and eliminating an extremely dangerous competitor in Affleck.

Jeff Gross Couldn't Get it Going

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jeff Gross
Jeff Gross

Jeff Gross was in middle position and moved all in for 15,000. Frank Lin was in late position and called.

Jeff Gross: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Frank Lin: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Gross couldn't improve beyond a pair of jacks and Lin took it down. Gross started off with just over 30,000 today and couldn't get his stack going in a positive direction, but look for this pro to make some noise later on in the series.
