Tough Fold for Wasserman

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

On a board of {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} Michael Wasserman checked to Harrison Gimbel who bet 28,000 and Wasserman called.

The river was the {5-Spades}. Wasserman checked and Gimbel moved all in having Wasserman covered. Wasserman thought it over for a few minutes telling the table he only needed two more minutes to make a decision. At the two-minute mark Govert Metaal called the clock and after 30 seconds Wasserman folded.

Richard Dubini Comes From Way Behind

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With around 60,000 in the middle, there were three players to the flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Marc Foggin checked from the big blind, and Uri Reichenstein also checked. Richard Dubini bet 20,000, and Foggin called. Reichenstein raised to 82,000, and Dubini was the only one to call. The turn was the {10-Hearts}, and Reichenstein bet 95,000, which Dubini called. The river landed the {2-Hearts}, and both players checked.

Reichenstein tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for top set on the flop, while Dubini showed {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for middle set on the flop. However, with the runout, Dubini made a flush and scooped a large pot.

Gruneberg Defends His Big Blind

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action was folded around to the cutoff, who raised to 17,000, and Zachary Gruneberg called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and both players checked. The turn was the {4-Clubs}, and Gruneberg led out for 21,000. His opponent called, and the {k-Diamonds} fell on the river. Gruneberg checked, and his opponent bet 42,000. Gruneberg snap-called and tabled {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for the best hand to take down the pot.
