Bronshtein Eliminates Eilers

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Yuval Bronshtein raised to 9,000 second to act and then saw Benjamin Eilers pot it behind him for 33,000. Bronshtein put him all in for the last 4,000 or so.

Bronshtein: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Eilers: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and {7-Clubs} turn had Eilers looking good for a double with two pair and a nut low draw. The river was a {q-Diamonds}, though, giving Bronshtein a winning straight.

"Dirty," someone said.
