Roth Rolls With Top Pair

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Christopher Roth bet 70,000 from middle position on a {6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, and Bruce Yamron raised to what looked like 270,000. Roth put his whole stack of a little more than 300,000 in and Yamron called the rest.

Christopher Roth: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Bruce Yamron: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Yamron had flopped two pair, so Roth asked the dealer for a king. The turn was a {j-Hearts} and no help for Yamron, but the river {k-Spades} came to give him the better two pair. He wasn't proud of his double, but he raked in the pot nonetheless.
